Everyone, I'm (finally) home!

If I didn't love my job so freaking much, I would just up and resign right at this point.

My feet are so sore!

Seriously though. It's a good thing that I remembered to bring my flip flops along - those Jimmy Choo heels are designed to kill. Comfortable or not, they are so pretty! Going to check whether I can afford a pair of those next month. Dad's gonna flip if he knows just how much they cost, but hello? It's Jimmy Choo's. I'd sell my soul to own a pair.

The Winter Dance is coming soon. Ten somehow placed me as one of those responsible for decorations and I can't wait to see what theme we're going for this year. The last one, if I remember correctly, was something about global warming and melting ice racks in the Pole. Honestly. Some nerds and their friends set up the whole thing and it was a total disaster. The only redeeming point was that the dance floor was made from ice. Like a skating rink. Very fab. I wonder if we're doing it again this year (the rink, not the global warming. Ugh.).

I need to go soak my feet.

Anyway, it's been a while since I last blogged. I'm missing all the important social updates and tips from fashion journals. Akira told me that I'm becoming too technologically-dependent nowadays, but hello? Aren't everyone in Tokyo are? That girl seriously needs to get out more.

Anyway, birthday party's a BLAST! Of course it is, because it's mine. Really, I can't expect something less. The turnout was okay, though it's a pity that Tenten's out sick. Still need to open a few more presents and I swear, the next time I unwrap another scarf, someone's going to be strangled to death. There are a few new faces as well. Though one of them is batshit crazy, I think Kankurou-san is okay. AND HE GAVE ME THIS GORGEOUS ISSEY MIYAKE'S DRESS. EAT YOUR HEART OUT, MIHO. ♥

There are still some homework to do, because I skipped school for several days and Dad promised to take me somewhere this weekend. Told me that there's someone who wants to meet me and he's being all secretive about it. So totally unlike him and my curiosity's killing me.

Still need to clean up the storage room again.

I think I'm going to die. But in a good way!

So, been busy these last few days. I mean, with that party over at Mirror (NARUTO, YOU'RE DEAD WHEN I SEE YOU AGAIN) and that sudden jobs over at the agency (my God, people, do I look like a paper-pusher to you, do I??), I just wish I can keel over and go coma for at least three weeks. But hey, IT'S GOING TO BE MY BIRTHDAY AND I AIN'T MISSING MY SWEET SIXTEEN~♥

Like Dad said; it's not every day his princess turns sixteen.

He's home right now, but then again, not that it makes much difference. Keeps talking on the phone and in video conference all day - flowers export here, flowers import there - unless I drag him physically away. He's getting thinner too nowadays! Well. Managed to plan the whole thing with Dad and the girlfriends (thanks Hina-chan!) and I'm sure it's gonna be a blast!

I found some of Mom's old pictures when I was cleaning the store room today. I like this one the best. She looks pretty, doesn't she?

I can't really remember her anymore. The way she smiled, the way she held me. The way she told me she loved me. Dad said that I was too small to remember those things but I was already eleven! I should at least know what she called me, how her voice sounded.

There aren't many photos around. Dad wouldn't talk about Mom, at least not when he's sober.

I'm just afraid. One day... I might just forget her altogether.

If memories are what kept someone immortal, I'd be killing Mom all over again.

So, anyway. I just figured out that I have three essays to finish before this weekend. And there's a Science test on Wednesday, including chapters that I have no idea existed in the textbook. And most importantly. I chipped TWO of my nails when I tried to lift some boxes into the storeroom. One of those stick-on star studs peeled off and I don't know where it is right now. Probably having tea parties with the dust bunnies. Ugh. Dad seriously needs to clean that place more often.

I'm getting this as soon as the agency banks in my pay.

Totally cute, right? The girls introduced me to the shop and since they just opened, everything is, like, half-priced for the next two days. It even comes with a lucky charm and I'm also thinking of snagging one of their Alberta Ferretti's tops. Cost an arm and a leg, but I'm sorely tempted...

Though I might save the money for college instead. Whenever I manage to finish high school, which seems to go on and on and on forever. Shikamaru, can I trade my diligence for your brain? I can make you a hard-worker? A great deal, right?

AND PEOPLE. WE NEED TO DO A STUDY GROUP BEFORE I FAIL EVERYTHING.
